Leadership in Biodiversity Impact Reduction award is presented to Reliance Industries Limited in recognition of their excellent practices in protecting, restoring and reducing the impact on biodiversity and initiatives for rehabilitation and resettlement programs. They continuously monitors the impact of its operations on the surrounding ecosystem through periodic environment impact studies conducted by external experts. To preserve ecosystems, the company planted approximately 2.2 crore saplings. This effort will enhance the development of greenbelts and restore habitats.
