Founded in 2017, Chennai-based Vivriti Capital, a new-age technology-enabled lender, is a registered non-deposit taking NBFC with the RBI. Vivriti Capital brings together capital markets’ investors with institutions, small enterprises, and individuals. It manages a diverse portfolio of over 250 mid-market enterprises across various sectors, with a combined AUM of $730 million.
Our Approach
Vivriti Capital sought to improve its existing ESG framework, and keeping in mind the goal of providing ease of convenience to the client, our team proposed the following solutions:
- Develop a sustainability assessment solution for Vivriti Capital that would evaluate company performance, generate sustainability scores, generate category level ESG scores, and aid the company in conducting portfolio level analysis.
- To start with, ESGRisk.ai developed 36 sector-based sustainability assessment solutions with ~ 55 indicators for each industry.
- The models are multi-dimensional, incorporating materiality at each indicator level, taking into consideration the unique effect each industry has on its stakeholders.
The sustainability assessment models have allowed Vivriti Capital to pave the way to a sustainable & greener portfolio by assessing the ESG risk of their portfolio companies.
